The project
Radisson Residences Al Reem Island Abu Dhabi is a development of three towers linked by a shared waterfront podium, set where the island meets the mangroves. The developer describes it as the first standalone Radisson residence anywhere in the world. Floor-to-ceiling windows face the water and the mangrove channel, and the podium holds the shared amenities that connect the three buildings.
The mix runs from studios of 444 square feet through to four bedroom townhouses of 4,950 square feet, so the same address covers a first purchase and a family home. Interiors use muted tones, natural textures and deep green accents drawn from the mangroves.
My view is that the interest here is the location rather than the badge. Al Reem Island sits minutes from ADGM, the schools, the hospitals and the malls, and it is one of the few Abu Dhabi addresses where a buyer can enter at studio level and still be in the middle of the city.

Golden Visa
Purchases at AED 2,000,000 and above qualify for the UAE ten-year Golden Visa. At the starting figures above, that means the two bedroom apartments and the larger types. Studios and one bedroom apartments start below the threshold, so they do not qualify on their own.
If residency is part of your reason for buying, the two bedroom is the entry point, and on the published starting figures it also looks better value for each square foot than the studio or the one bedroom.
