This page explains what information I collect, how I use it and who else handles it. I am Dragos Mihalte, a Private Real Estate Investment Advisor at Savills Middle East in Dubai, and property enquiries sent through this site reach me in that role. Where a transaction proceeds, it is handled through Savills Middle East.
Two situations are covered separately below, because what I hold is different in each. The first is where you contact me directly. The second is where you completed an enquiry form on one of my adverts on Facebook or Instagram.
When you write to me by email or WhatsApp, I hold your message and your contact details so that I can reply and keep a record of our conversation. If we work together, I also hold the details of what you are looking for and the properties we discuss.
I do not add you to a mailing list without asking, I do not sell or rent your details to anyone, and I do not use them for advertising.
When you complete an enquiry form on Facebook or Instagram, your answers are passed to me so that I can reply to you. That means:
The rating exists only to help me decide who to contact first. It is not a credit assessment, it is not shared with anyone else, and it has no effect on anything beyond the order in which I work through enquiries.
The suggested reply and the rating are generated by an artificial intelligence service, currently provided by Anthropic. Your answers are sent to that service so the text can be produced, and they are not used to train models.
No decision affecting your legal position is made automatically. I read every enquiry and I decide whether and how to contact you.
I use a small number of providers, each for one purpose only:
Where a property transaction proceeds, your details may also be shared with the agency, developer or regulated professional involved in that transaction, and only to the extent needed to complete it. I will tell you when that applies.
Nobody else receives your information, other than an authority I am legally required to disclose it to.
Enquiry records are kept for two years from our last contact, so that I can pick up a conversation where we left off. Records connected to a completed transaction are kept for as long as the law requires. You can ask me to delete your details sooner.
Information may be processed on servers outside the United Arab Emirates, including in the European Union and the United States. I take reasonable steps to ensure it is protected wherever it is held.
You can ask me for a copy of the information I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Write to dragos.mihalte@savills.me or message me on WhatsApp and I will respond within thirty days.
Access is limited to me. Credentials are stored encrypted, and every enquiry received from Meta is checked cryptographically before it is accepted, so that data cannot be submitted by anyone else.
This site and my advisory work are intended for adults. I do not knowingly collect information about anyone under eighteen.
If this policy changes I will update the date at the top of this page. The address of this page will stay the same, so any link to it will continue to work.
